Hic & Nunc publishing / publishing art object files for 3D printers.

hic & nunc is a publishing project in the form of a database compiling and referencing unpublished proposals by contemporary visual artists. The database is accessible to all, and enables files to be downloaded in unlimited numbers and for unlimited periods of time. Downloaded files can then be materialized via a 3D printer at home, or by locating a nearby 3D printer through the 3D HUBS network. hic & nunc publishing is based on the notion of immediacy: the artist’s thought via the machine takes shape anywhere, anytime, demonstrating the potential encoded in each of the 3D printer’s gears.

Hic&nunc is a publishing project conceived by Etienne Dodet and Yann Perol.

Anybody can access this database and download files with no limit of number or time.

The downloaded files can be materialised by a 3D printer at home or any 3D printers localised on makexyz
